Deja Vu: Gamecocks Football Draws The Nations Toughest Schedule Once Again

Playing SEC football is tough, we all know that.

It’s even tougher when you’re one of those middle-of-the-pack teams that has to run the gauntlet of the top-tier programs.

Well, lucky for us, South Carolina is yet again a middle-tier SEC team that gets the lucky draw of playing at LSU this upcoming season.

Perfect. Just perfect.

Add the annual battle against Clemson to that, and we have Georgia, @ Flordida, @ LSU, and Clemson, and boom. You guessed it.

According to 247 Sports, we once again face the toughest schedule in America.

After going 4-8 last season against what we knew was going to be a tough task, the last thing we needed was the same thing this season.

We have to go to the toughest place to play in college football, home to the national champions.

We also get to face the team they beat in that same national championship.

Unreal. It’s actually unreal why this happens to us.

Not to mention, expect vastly improved Tennessee and Texas A&M squads.

The importance of the impact this freshman class is going to have cannot be understated enough.

Guys like Marshawn Lloyd, Jordan Burch (fingers crossed), and Luke Doty (my projected starter) HAVE to make their presence felt if we want any chance at a 7+ win season.

Games like Vandy, Kentucky, Missouri, and East Carolina are absolute must wins for bowl eligibility.

Unlike last year, I can’t see us getting a big upset win like we did with Georgia.

So, win the games you’re supposed to win and you go bowling. Not that hard, right?

Well, this is Carolina football. Absolutely nothing is easy. Ever.

Why can’t we ever get a easy schedule like Clemson all ways do that why they go 12-0 just about every year we had a schedule like them maybe we could go undefeated one year why can’t there schedule ever have SEC Team they have to play in a season like play a less 4 are 5 SEC teams on there schedule no they scared to play any team in the SEC cause they wouldn’t go underfeated that way they go underfeated cause they play High school college team the ones they now they can beat the tuffes team the play is Florida State Boston Collegean one more are a couple more teams they have the easiest schedule in football
