Former Gamecocks Prepare For A Big Upcoming Week At The “Senior Bowl”

The best week of the year for College Football Seniors, Senior Bowl week. Jim Nagy showed two Gamecocks some love this year and was very happy another was returning to school so he could be in Mobile next year.

Let’s get into these storylines and what to expect from the Gamecocks in Mobile.

First, I’m going to talk about a Gamecock who Jim Nagy, Senior Bowl executive director, was excited to see staying in Columbia.

Josh Vann is returning to school and on Twitter Jim Nagy seemed glad, hinting towards him being in Mobile for the Senior Bowl next year.

Now for the Gamecocks that are in Mobile this week, one of which was a late addition. ZaQuandre White got added to the Lion’s side Tuesday night. He joined other SEC running backs Brian Robinson and Dameon Peirce.

White will work with Dan Cambell’s staff all week. I expect a big week from White getting to run behind the strong offensive line group that the Lions were assigned.

Look for a lot of people to be talking more about White after this week, with him most likely shooting up draft boards.

Also on the Lions side of the ball is Kingsley Enagbare, who will be vying for EDGE number one of his group with FSU’s Jermaine Johnson II.

A good week could find Enagbare in that NFL Draft greenroom, and not for long. One on one’s will be HUGE for Enagbare going against guys like Raimann, Penning, and Faalele.

Throughout the week I will have plenty of updates on the Gamecocks in Mobile. Big weeks for two Gamecocks whose lives could be changed by just one scout saying “hey, I want this guy.”

Keep it locked to the Senior Bowl all week long.
